Beloit, WI - Judith Ann Sather, 82, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in her home. She was born on June 3, 1942 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Kenneth C. and Florence (Schwartz) Frye. She married Melvin Sather on June 25, 1960 in the First Pentecostal Church, South Beloit, IL. He predeceased her on March 18, 2012. Judith began her faith journey at First Pentecostal Church, South Beloit, IL. She later joined Calvary Tabernacle where she was a faithful and active member for over 60 years, volunteered with Ladies Ministries team, made many contributions and generous donations for all causes to the church. Judith enjoyed camping, campfires, baking, crocheting, holidays and going Up North with her family. Survivors include her daughter, Julie (Joel) Clossey of Beloit, WI; son, Mark Sather of Janesville, WI; grandchildren, Matthew Clossey of Beloit, WI, Danielle Sather, and Brittany Sather both of Janesville, WI; great-granddaughters, Haylee Marie, Taylor Rae and Lillian Grace; brother, Kenneth Allen Frye of Beloit, WI; sister, Jeri Lynn (Ronald) Bright of Milton, WI; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marilyn (Mark) Lazarz, Robert (Donna) Sather, Ann Learn and Sam Francis; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and church family that she loved dearly. Judith was predeceased by her parents; husband, Melvin; sisters, Margaret "Midge" Francis and Susan Lowery; sister-in-law, Teresa Frye and grandson, Tyler Sather. A Memorial Service for Judith will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025 in Calvary Tabernacle 1907 McKinley Ave., Beloit, WI, with Pastor Rick Bailey officiating. Visitation of Remembrance will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Saturday in the church. Inurnment will be in Newark Cemetery at a later date. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
