We will miss you so much, Mike. Our hearts go out to your whole family; wife Kay, son Ryan, and all those of who held you near and dear. May your spirit of gentle friendliness, helpfulness, and warmth live on in everyone who knew you, and your memory provide comfort in the days ahead to all of us who cared deeply for you and will be missing you so much.

I worked with Mike out to caprock feedyard. Played many games of cribbage after he taught me how. I remember most that Mike always had a story to tell. Stories about his pet coon, he'd had growing up. Stories about his oldest son who was slated to be the next baseball great. Any of his children could be the subject of a story on any given day; he loved them all greatly/
