Philip Trifilo Obituary
After completing his time in the service, he met his future wife, Mabel Poulin, and they were married on January 15, 1956. He is survived by his wife Mabel, his older brother James Trifilo, and his two children, Carol (Richard) Furtado and Stephen (Julia) Trifilo. They were graced with four grandchildren: Dale (Amy) Rivas, Richard (Lauren) Furtado, Justin (Nicole) Trifilo and Amber (Jorge) Landeros; one adopted grandchild: Ivan Vinson; and eight great grandchildren: Abigail and Claire Rivas, Debra and Anthony Furtado, Scott and Keira Trifilo, Camila and Elena Landeros.
Philip started his career as a machinist apprentice at Be Ge in Gilroy and worked his way up to tool and die maker at McCormick Selph in Hollister and ended up retiring from the same position at IBM in San Jose.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents Carmen and Martina Trifilo and his younger brother Eugene Trifilo.
Memorial services will be held at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy on November 26, 2024 at 11 am followed by his ashes being put to rest at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
