Wilma Maye Ash

1927 - 2022

Wilma Maye Ash (Harries) passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Wilma was born in NE on March 2, 1927 and spent 60+ years raising her family in San Martin, CA. Wilma retired as a school Nurse working in Santa Clara County Headstart where she spent 40+ years doing what she loved. Wilma was very involved with San Martin 4-H, San Martin Presbyterian Church and Gilroy Grange Hall. During her retirement years Wilma enjoyed many hobbies which included collecting stamps and coins, digging into her genealogy, working on her farm and raising her grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her late husband Jack L. Ash and her daughter Karen Ash. Wilma leaves behind her children, Ken Ash, Kathy Bradish and Krisann Villarruel (Salvador Villarruel), her grandchildren, Eddie Bradish, Michelle Wilson (Tommy Wilson), Melissa Guevara, Alicia Villarruel, Rebeccah Rodriguez (Robert Rodriguez) and Janessa Villarruel, her great grandchildren, Joshua Bradish, Jaiden Bradish, Madison Bradish, Julian Guevara, Sofia Guevara and Henry Wilson. A celebration of Life will take place this Sunday, January 16th, 2022 1pm at the Gilroy Grange Hall, 8191 Swanston Lane, Gilroy, CA. Cross street is Leavesley.
