Rusti Higgins Obituary
February 15, 1976 - April 20, 2022
After a long medical battle, Rusti Dee Higgins passed away on Wednesday April 20, at St. Mary's Hospital, while surrounded by those she loved.
Rusti was born February 15, 1976, in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Carla and Mike Higgins. She was the only girl out of four children; her brothers are Ryan, Mac and Jake.
Although she called Colorado home, Australia was lucky enough to have her for a few years. She enjoyed being under the sun doing outdoor activities, coaching her girl's softball teams, and she had never met a stranger. Rusti was a kind and warm person with the brightest smile you could have ever imagined. She was the light in every room and you could not help but admire her beauty.
She is survived by her daughters, Madison, Sophia, Olivia, and Hayden. She touched a great deal of lives and will be missed by many.
Please join us for Rusti's Celebration of Life Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Higgins Home in Grand Junction, 2838 S. Forest Ct., from 3 - 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.
As Rusti brought color to this world, we'd love to see you in color too.
