Samuel Vigil-Tuttle Obituary

Samuel Lafayette Vigil-Tuttle August 3, 1988 – August 25, 2011 Samuel left this world suddenly of natural causes on August 25, 2011 to be with Our Lord. He was born on August 3, 1988 to Daniel James Vigil and Rebecca Jane Vigil. At the age of four, Samuel and his beloved sister, Jessica, were adopted by their step-father, Johnny Tuttle, blending their family with their younger brother, Gabriel. He was a lifelong resident of Grand Junction. Sam loved to cook and enjoyed it as a profession. He had a strong work ethic and prided himself as a hard worker. Samuel was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed fixing up vehicles. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping and was an animal lover who was very fond of dogs. Samuel believed that the simple things were important in life. Spending time with friends and family and finding joy in the simplicity of "God's Art". He was a generous young man who was very jovial and had a wicked sense of humor. He could always be seen with a huge smile on his face. He was a kind, deeply sincere person who is described by many as very kind hearted, "real" and loving. He is survived by his parents, Rebecca Jane and Johnny Lee Tuttle; his sister, Jessica Marie Vigil-Tuttle and his brother, Gabriel Skye Tuttle. He is also survived by his father, Daniel James Vigil; his grandparents, Samuel and Maria Vigil and June Tuttle as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. A viewing will be held at on Tuesday, August 30th at 6:00 p.m. and a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 31st at 10:00 am at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Friends and Family are invited to a reception immediately following the memorial service.
