Eugene H. Jorgensen

LATIMER-Eugene H. Jorgensen, 85, of Latimer, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, June 16, 2024 at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.

He is survived by his wife Mardell of Latimer, his children Darla (John) Griffiths of Waukee, Douglas (Melinda) Jorgensen of Hampton and Deanne (Matt) Sallee of Hudson, his grandchildren Emma, Jacob (Amanda), Lisa (Michael), Anne (Zach), Alan, Paula (Nicholas), Madison (Zach), Kylee, Thomas (Whitney) and Krista (Anthony), his great-grandchildren Dexter, Lyndy, Deklen, Stetson, Landon and Waverley, his brothers Charles (Joyce) Jorgensen of Clive and LeRoy (Janice) Jorgensen of Humboldt, also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21st at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton and visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20th also at the church. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Latimer. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service of Humboldt is in charge of the arrangements. www.masonlindhart.com
