Jeffrey Jindra Obituary
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 714 North Adams Ave., Mason City, with the Reverend Paul Lippstock officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.
Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, March 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, where a Scriptural Wake service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated to the Jeffrey Jindra Memorial Fund in care of his parents, Rick and Penny.
Jeffrey Jindra was born to Ricky and Penny Jindra on October 14, 1988, in Mason City. Jeff attended school in Mason City, Des Moines, Ames, Dubuque, and Waverly graduating from Mason City High School in 2007. Jeff was a dedicated, hardworking individual at every effort he made throughout his life.
Jeff was one to help a friend or neighbor in hand without being compensated for it. He enjoyed the outdoors, four-wheeling, and biking with his brother. Jeff spent a lot of his time with his friends at bonfires and enjoyed cars, trucks, and four-wheelers. Most importantly, his daughter was his life spending all of his free time with her.
Those left to cherish his memory and love are his parents, Rick and Penny Jindra, Mason City; daughter, Nevaeh Jindra, Mason City; brother, Jon Jindra, Mason City; grandparents, Donna Eggena and Daryl Kluender, Orchard, and Robert and Jeanette Jindra, Fort Madison; great-grandma, Irene Eggena, Mason City and his dog, Angel. He will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Eggena; great-grandparents, Vivian and Tip Piper, Albert Eggena, Ralph and Dolores Busch, and Adolph and Lillian Jindra; uncle, Duane Craig; aunt, Julie Craig and cousins, Devin and Bryon Craig.

Penny and Rick, I am so very sorry for your loss. You gave me great advice when you told me just to go home and hug my kids. Our kids mean the world to us. And I know that Jeff and Jon are your world also. I hope my dad gets to meet Jeff in heaven. I know that he would like his sense of humor, his love of life, and his sense of adventure. They will be able to sit down and share stories for a long time. Jeff will remind Dad a little bit of himself when he was a young boy. My thoughts and prayers are always with you. Rick & Penny: Ive been thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers. I didnt realize that Jeffrey had a daughter but after seeing pictures of her I have to say he sure did leave an adorable little girl behind to keep his memory alive and Im sure she will do just that. You will always be able to see his smile in hers :O) He was a great kid and will be dearly missed.

We were so sorry to hear about your sudden devastating loss. Try to stay strong for that granddaughter and yourselves. I remember back to the days of Cub Scouts and Jeff always had something to say and would at times challenge what we had to say. He was never at a loss for words or ideas. A great boy who grew into an awesome man. You are in our prayers. May God carry you thru this difficult time. Do NOT be afraid to ask if there is ANYTHING we can do. Penny & Fammily it just seems like yesterday that Jeff rode my bus to school. He grew up to be a great guy and after all these years when I would run into him he would say hey do you remember me. He would tell me about what he was doing in life and how grandma Donna was doing and about his accomplishments. I will miss seeing him around but will have those good memories. My prayers go out to your family and Grandma Donna for your loss, Jeff is going to be missed.

We are so sorry for your loss! Jeff was a good kid! Always willing to help whoever needed help. He had a BIG heart! He never met a stranger and could talk with anyone as if he'd known them his whole life. We could razz him and he would just smile and go with it! Jeff was my daughters dad and nevaeh loved her daddy dearly,always talking about when daddy was coming or anything that they did together or that daddy.My words cant say enough for his family and our poor daughter that is now without her daddy's presence. But I do know that he is watching over her and to me i know that is a comfort,even though Nevaeh doesnt fully understand at this point that shes not going to be seeing daddy.
