In 2003 David remarried; his wife Ana joining him in his international job placements until his retirement in 2020 to Chattanooga, TN. He was known for his good humor, Christian faith, fun-loving life outlook, work-ethic, love of culture and good food and relished precious time with his loved ones.

David is survived by his wife Ana Jonas; daughter Cynthia Jonas, son David Jonas, and grandson Milo Jonas; his brothers James Jonas, Robert Jonas, Thomas Jonas and sisters Patricia Ligenza and Jane Irvine, as well as many nieces and nephews. I just learned of DJ's passing. He was a wonderful co-worker who truly loved his family and the Lord. I am thankful for his daith and the promise it holds that we will see him again in eternity where he will be renewed. No more pain or illness.

Praying for those left behind that God will comfort you, provide peace, and fill you with wonderful memories ar just the right moments.

So sorry to see this about Dave. Taken much too young and it saddens me that we never had the chance to meet again all these years later and get to know each other.
I can see Uncle Jim and Grandpa Ray in him!

Your children, your new grandson, your son-in law, and your son's fiancée and I, gathered together to Celebrate your Life at Sunset Beach - Washington Park, Anacortes WA this past Saturday afternoon 9/2/23. It was a beautiful summer day as we looked out into Rosario Strait in the waters we use to sail on together as a family. We sent out to sea, our individual roses as our way of saying goodbye to you. It was the last time we will be together as a family for a while, as Cynthia's family is headed back to her current home in the Czech Republic soon. Dad, we love you, we miss you and will remember you always. We thank you for this precious gift of life together and creating our Jonas family. Rest in Peace Dad.
