Mr. and Mrs. Hudson (John and Linda if I may). You know that Chris and I were best friends growing up. I hadn't seen him for quite a while and didn't know of his health issues. I is weighing very heavy on my heart that he has passed. I want to offer my deepest sympathy for you and your family. Some of my fondest memories with Chris were playing in the woods and creek, building forts and just doing all kinds of nature type "stuff". I really wish I could have seen him again...I will leave it at that; it says all that I can . I will always remember Chris and I cherish the times we had, good and bad. Once again my deepest sympathies. My prayers are with you.

Sorry to learn of Chris's passing, we weren't great friends by any means but he always spoke when he saw me at Kroger (and later Food Lion) or Erma's where we had a lot of good conversations and boy do I remember how he loved chess. I watched him play a couple of times and one memory that stands out is a VERY long match that went into the wee hours of the morning...I don't think Chris lost but 2-3 pieces? LOL He was a kind man, never spoke bad of anyone and always wore a smile! Rest easy buddy, Godspeed!!!

I had Chris as a student at DCC and always enjoyed talking to him. He was full of life and hard working.
Sorry to see him pass at this early age.
