Mrs. Gregory and I have been friends and co-workers for many years because of my involvement in Woman's Missionary Union while serving in Mississippi and Michigan. Christine was a very brave soul to travel to Michigan for a retreat in February while in her 70's. I appreciated her gifts, leadership skills and inspiration for missions and missions education. May the Lord give each family member His comfort during these days.

Dear Joel,
I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's death. Mrs. Gregory was one of the most faithful Christian disciples I have ever known. Her love for God and neighbor were always evident. After dropping in to see her in the late '90s, she even helped shape my work in Danville when I came back to serve Trinity UMC. I will always remember what a dear lady she was--and what an incredible, cherished friend she mothered.
Grace and peace,

I am remembering fondly all the GA Coronations she presided over, welcoming me as a Maiden all the way to presenting me with my scepter as Queen Regent. What an honor it was to have her at our services at Keen St. Baptist Church.
