Carolee Kleffman Obituary
She was born March 18, 1937, in Edwardsville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Joseph L. & Edna L. (Stahlhut) Schafer.
Carolee held the position of Corporate Secretary at Florist Mutual Insurance Company in Edwardsville for many years, retiring in 1995. She also represented Florist Mutual in various community organizations and led several fundraising campaigns for the American Red Cross & United Fund. Carolee was proud of starting a Florist Mutual Christmas tradition of collecting gifts from the employees which were made into food baskets and distributed to needy families in the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon area.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William I. Kleffman, whom she married December 6, 1958, in Waterloo, Illinois.
She is also survived by one sister, Shirley L. Beck of Highland, Illinois.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Darmour-Paul officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com.
