HAZEL MOORE Obituary

SAN ANGELO - Hazel P. Moore passed Friday evening, Oct. 7, 2005, after a long battle with cancer. She joins her husband, Bobby D. Moore; son David Manning; sisters, Dot, Bert, Sharon, and Vergie; brother Leroy; special friend Valerie Sides; and her parents in the ever-after. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Hohn and husband Chuck of San Angelo; daughter Deborah Funderberge of Pensacola Fla.; brother Archie Hurd; brother Roland Hurd; half-brother Roger Maxum; grandchildren Debra Swain and Billy J. Wayne; great-grandson Nicholas J. Wayne; several nieces and nephews; and her extended family of Five Points. Surviving stepchildren include Terry and Pam Moore of Virginia Beach, Va., Sherrie Harrell of Chesapeake Va., and Allen and Pat Moore of Chesapeake Va. Hazel was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace. Special thanks from the family go to Hospice of San Angelo for their tremendous care and to Christmas in April/Navy volunteers for adapting the home in her time of need. The family requests in lieu of flowers that you donate to Christmas in April or Hospice of San Angelo in the name of Hazel Moore. Graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
