I drove past the old St John's campus last week and some Bobby stories jumped out my 71 year old brain and I laughed halfway across town. I have a lot of Bobby stories but most of them would require extensive redacting. Here is one that works.
One year we had an open house Christmas party in the plant operations building for any employee that wanted to stop by. Bobby was Santa. We had him in the red suit and he played it to the hilt. One of the lab techs was peeking through the door and was not sure if she wanted to enter. Bobby saw her and yelled "Hey Hey Hey, oops, I mean Ho Ho Ho. Come on in little girl, Santa likes blondes."
I can say that our redneck Christmas party was a lot better than the official one held in the auditorium and Bobby was the one that made it work. There are Santa pictures floating around somewhere.
I know all of you miss him but he is definitely watching all of you and is probably laughing.

Dear Marlo, Wade and Monty I am so sorry to hear of Bobby's passing.
He was a very special friend to me. We go way back 50+ years. I was getting ready to do my Christmas cards, first time in a few years, and was looking on the internet hoping to find an address and I saw his obituary. I am so sad.
My prayers are with you all !

I worked with Bobby off and on over the years. It was always a little more fun when he was around and you never had to wonder what he was thinking; he'd let you know. If somebody needed help, Bobby was always there. Bobby had their back. A really good guy that will be missed.
