Gregory "Greg" Donald Lach, age 66, of Grand Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025, at home. He was born on June 24, 1958, in Grand Haven, Michigan, to the late Donald and Patricia (Zolinski) Lach.
After the passing of his father in 2017, Greg moved to Charlevoix, Michigan, where he was compassionately cared for by his sister, Tracey, and brother-in-law, Jim. He returned to his hometown of Grand Haven in 2023 where he resided until his passing.
Greg worked for Kandu Industries for 31 years following his completion of schooling at Ottawa Area Center. He loved Fricano's pizza with anchovies, and he tried wholeheartedly to convince everyone that they should add anchovies to their pizza as well. Greg liked taking trips to the casino, sorting money and playing lottery instant tickets. He had an outstanding memory, loved going over the Mackinac Bridge and spending time on Mackinac Island, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Greg will be forever remembered and missed by his two sisters, Lezley (Larry Kuharevicz) Lach and Tracey (Jim) Olthof; his nephews: Evan (Vanessa) Draft, Cole Draft, Cameron and Jack Kuharevicz; niece, Sydney Kuharevicz; three great-nephews; one great-niece; his dear friends from Kandu Industries, Cinda and Beth; and his casino buddy, Kim.
The Memorial Service for Greg will take place at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Chaplain Nathaniel Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Health at Home Hospice-Grand Haven. I´ll never watch price is right the same again. Yelling new car and money amounts. I would jump every time. And Greg just laughed.

I worked with Greg at Kandu and we shared love for the Cubs. He would carry piles of stuff with him to share news and information. A sweet sole.

I was one of Greg's teachers at OAC many decades ago when he was a teen. He had a great sense of humor, loved to sing, and was a good student. I always enjoyed him in my class over the 7 years I worked with the teens.
