Sandra Schauers Obituary

GUNNISON, Utah - Longtime former Great Falls resident Sandra Luann (Smith) Schauers, 67, a homemaker and certified occupational therapy assistant, died of cancer Feb. 25 at her home in Gunnison, Utah.
Visitation is 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today, followed by her funeral at 11 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ward house in Gunnison. Burial will take place at Orem City Cemetery in Orem, Utah. Memorial Mortuary of Murray, Utah, is in charge of arrangements.
Sandy, as she was affectionately addressed, was born Jan. 21, 1943, to goodly parents, Richard and Donna Smith in Inglewood, Calif., Her immediate family consists of an adoring husband of almost 50 years, J. Neil; eight loving children: Heidi, Lisa, Wendy, Todd, Chad, Aaron, Jared and Justin; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The only way that we can truly honor our Sandy is to emulate her life. If everyone were as kind and generous as she, we would have little problems on the earth.
Sandy was a longtime resident of Great Falls and would have wanted her friends to know of her passing.

Dear Schauers Family,
As you know I loved your wife and mother so much. We shared alot in our time walking and jogging. She was a great loving, caring person and you couldn't have asked for a better wife and mother. You can never fill her vacant place but just remember all the wonderful memories she left you with. Our love and sympathy, Myrna and Bert
P.S. We would have been there today but we are serving a mission in the Washington D.C. Temple.

Neil and all the family-
Rosamaria and I were deeply sadden to learn of the passing of your sweet Wife and Mother. Even with our knowledge of the eternal plan, it still hurts, especially when it is the wife and mother of a great family like yours is.

Rosa and I and the kids send our love and prayers to all of you.
