Praise God for John's life and legacy! In addition to the most recent times at Luther Ridge and, of course, regular times together at Reedsville Church services and events, I appreciated sitting across from John at many prayer breakfasts. His life exemplified faith and faithfulness to God and his marriage and family -- natural and supernatural -- Christian brothers and sisters -- and to country. Fare thee well, sir!

To the entire Schauers family, my heart goes out to you. My family had the privledge to meet your father and get to know him the 2 1/2 years I worked at Luther Ridge. I have great memories of him and Anni. He loved life, and lived it to the fullest. Prayers to you and your family. One

I am saddened that I will not be able to attend the services for Uncle Johnny, my godfather, but I will cherish the afternoon I spent with him in March. We are in NC at this time which makes it impossible. I will always remember when he came with his father and his brother to our home in the Poconos to hunt. It was such an exciting time for all of them. I am sure that my mom is glad to see him. Carol Ann, Johnny, and Cindy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hug mom for me. She will be lost. Love, Susie
