Shirley and Bob had such an incredible influence on my family when I was young and we were all in Palmdale, CA. They were instrumental in leading my Mom to the Lord and discipled her into a strong relationship with Him. To me Shirley was a like a loving aunt who was there whenever I needed her. Time and distance faded the relationship but never my image of her as a strong woman of God. I have lots of fond memories of vacations to Canada and the Olympic Peninsula and her visit with us in Alaska. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
