Steve Sonny Wagner

Browning — Steve Sonny Wagner, 37, passed away in a swimming accident on Saturday, August 9th.

A member of the Blackfeet Tribe, he was born in Seattle, WA on April 20, 1977 to Frank Wagner and Maude Cobell.

A carpenter by trade he served in the USMC and was proud of his service. Sonny loved to listen to Native Music and be with his children and family. Sonny had a smile you would always remember.

He is survived by his children Coltin, Sunnirae, Autumn, Dalyn, and Chase; his father Frank (LaDean) Wagner; mother Maude Cobell; sisters Drucilla Wagner, Franky Wagner, Jessica (Harrison) Wagner, Adele Frank, and Julianna (LaMont) Frank; his brothers Robert (Marci) Wagner, Dale (Melonie) Frank Jr, and Edmond (Beth) Frank, his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Vernon Wagner, Sr. and Margaret Monroe Wagner and maternal Anna May Sharp and Clayton Cobell as well as his niece.

A wake is at the Old Eagle Shield Center with Rosary at 7 pm Wed. Mass will be celebrated at 2 pm Thurs. in the Little Flower Parish in Browning Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.fosterfhandcrematory.com
