Michael Johnson Obituary

Johnson, Michael

Michael Robert Johnson, age 40, De Pere, Wi passed away unexpectedly from sudden medical complications December 21, 2015 at Bellin Hospital. Michael brightened our world on November 12, 1975 in Clintonville, WI. Mike loved the simple things in life; nature, wildlife, walking a stream casting a line, the beauty of a trout, being an artist, French toast, Christmas cut out cookies, watermelon, a good cup of coffee, Beth's apple crisp, horseshoes with Bubba, and fishing for the 'big ones' with Chris. He enjoyed the Packers, Brewers and Detroit Redwings, but he loved the St Louis Cardinals. Above all, Mike's greatest love was his son, Parker.

Mike worked hard, was proud of his BA from UWO and all of his volunteer work with the Clean Boats/ Clean Waters program to make the world a better place. He was employed by Martell Construction. Will be missed by parents Marcia and Steve Casey, sister Beth, brothers Brian (Tricia) and Chris (Sarah), nephews Andy, Alec, Fisher and niece Makayla. His extended family, Kelly (Chris) Tarmann, Kristie (Shaun) Marczak and Matt Casey, Caleb, Connor, Taylor, Emma and Grandparents, Jack and Pat Casey and multiple aunts and uncles.

Waiting in heaven were Gracie, Gramma Fern, Grampa Ray, and Uncles Alan and Neil Bresnahan.

Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, WI. on Monday December 28, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial Service will be at 6:00PM. Officiating will be Pastor John Nehs Lead Pastor and Joe Gaunt, Minister of Pastoral Care at Bridge Point Church, Green Bay.

Instead of flowers, Mike would have liked for you to do an unexpected, random act of kindness for some unfortunate soul in his memory.

Thank you to Bellin Hospital, ICU team and Doctors for working so hard to save Mike. Marcia would especially like to thank NP Cheryle and SWAT nurse Melanie for being there to explain, pray and comfort me, no words could ever tell you how much that meant.

'Eagle' your soft heart, and sparkling blue eyes will live on forever in our heart and memory, till we meet again.

I would love to visit with you in the near future if we can work it out. I can be reached on FB or on my cell at 715-250-2921. Love & Hugs. xox

I am very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I will always remember the fun times on the hockey trips though, and how Mike always volunteered to meet me on the outskirts of town so I could follow him in because he knew if he didn't I would have gotten lost...I would have been driving in circles if not for him. I so much appreciated that. My prayers are with you-Jill

Even though I only met Mike for a short time I could feel his fun loving spirit. After I met his family I could see the love in the room for Mike and he to each of them. I am so sorry for your loss and pain at this difficult time.

I am so sad to hear about Mike. I have so many special memories of the "Johnson Kids" down the block that I babysat for all those years. I've never stopped loving all of you! I have been teaching full-time for the past 25 years and I am pretty positive that I learned most of my skills from: Beth, Mike, Brian & Chris ... and I thank you! Marcia- Big hugs to you and yours! I can't imagine what you are going through. I am so sorry. Love you. xox ~ "Pammy"

So sorry for your loss. I've always remembered Mike from when he used to skate with my brother Tavis or vice versa. he always had a smile on his face and it was very infectious.
