Wanda Miser Obituary
Born: July 2, 1936 | Died: October 31, 2025
Wanda Ruth Miser, 89, of Greeneville, a housewife, passed away Friday morning at her home.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years: Bill Miser; parents: Ray and Lena Wykle; two brothers: Earl and Eugene Wykle; two sisters: Marie Wykle and Agnus Ryans; son-in-law: Ron Leakins; and a special friend: Roger Carter, whom she thought of as another son.
Survivors include two sons: Tom and Amy Miser, Billy and April Miser; two daughters: Kathy Leakins, Mary and Steve Harris; four grandchildren: Ashley and Charles Laing, Madelin and James Riddle, Robbie Miser and Ronald Leakins; six great-grandchildren: Bryley Frazier, Kyleigh, Karli, and Wilder Miser, Beckham and Lynnlee Heck; brother-in-law: Jerry Ryans; nephew: Jody Ryans; several nieces and nephews; special friends: Kim Carter, Rooster Hensley, her Walmart family, and all her wonderful nurses with Amedisys, especially Kourtney.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 o'clock on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Danny Ricker officiating.
Family and friends are asked to gather at Doughty-Stevens at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday to go in procession to New Bethel Cemetery for the 11 a.m. committal service.
Pallbearers will be Ronald LEakins, Jody Ryans, Charles Laing, James Riddle, Garret Anderson, and Terry Anderson.
