Mark attended Westerville North High School and went on to become a talented carpenter and an even more gifted chef. He married his wife, Becki, March 4, 1990. Mark was known for his wild sense of humor, his undeniable intelligence, his incredible cooking skills, his ability to fix or build anything, his unforgettable stories, his impulsive adventures, and his unwavering willingness to help anyone who needed it.
Among the many memories his family cherishes are the day he met his granddaughter Jacklynn (Sammi and John) and how he instantly adored her. The way he showed up for his daughter, Nikki, during her time at OSU. He drove her to campus every day to make sure she got there safely. How he always showed up for his daughter, Sam when she called him in the most interesting situations. How he always surprised his wife, Becki, like the day he let Sam shave his ponytail while she was at work .The way he cared for his in-laws, Bill and Martha when they were unwell. As well as, the Thanksgiving he brought home a homeless man so he would have a warm meal and company. His kindness was instinctive, and people will remember that most. Mark was a protector and hed want us all to know. "I've got you. Every little thing is going to be all right."
