Carter Wilson Obituary

GREENSBORO Carter Wilson, 19, of High Point, passed away December 26, 2018. A memorial service honoring the lives of Carter and his best friend, Ethan, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Covenant United Methodist Church in High Point. Carter was born December 14, 1999, in Kansas. He attended Southwest Guilford Middle and High Schools and graduated high school as a home school student. He attended Tiger Rock Martial Arts of High Point, studying taekwondo, and enjoyed that sport very much. Carter had plans to pursue his passion of glassblowing with an internship in Asheville. He is survived by his parents, Jason and Shannon Barr Wilson; his sisters, Gabrielle Wilson Taylor (Seth), Tymber Wilson and Bayleigh Wilson; his partner, Chet Maney, and a host of other loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. George Brothers Funeral Service is assisting the families with arrangements.
