GREENSBORO Donald Keith "Donnie" Richmond, Jr., 48, of Greensboro passed away on July 23, 2016 surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Donnie was born to Don and Catherine Richmond on September 22, 1967 in Beckley, WV.As it turns out, Donnie's deep love of all things fried has come to bite him in the behind. He always said he never met a glass of lemonade or a chicken biscuit he didn't like. If you had the pleasure of knowing Donnie, then you know he was quick witted with a heart of gold. Donnie was defined by how much he loved his family and friends, his great love of laughter, and a good nap. Donnie had a beautiful smile and was truly hilarious.Donnie is survived by his mother Catherine; sister Marcy [Darell] Bryant; brother John; and four children Ashley, Jack, Nicki, and Anderson.Over the years, Donnie forged a trail of laughter, generosity, and kindness. You could always depend on him to make you feel special: He made bad days better and good days greater by bringing about deep belly laughs with his sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association. Lambeth-Troxler Funeral & Cremation Service is serving the family.
