C. Rasberry Obituary

C. Nicholas Rasberry, 24, of 38 Griffin Mill Road, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006.

Born in Greenville, he was the son of George and Laura Ivester Rasberry.

Nicholas was a 1999 graduate of Woodmont High School and attended Coastal Carolina University. He was previously employed with Lakeview Golf Club, and currently employed with Key West Connection, and also helped his father on several construction jobs. He was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Charles "Charlie" Rasberry of Piedmont; his maternal grandparents, Ovie and Jake Ivester of Greenville; and many other aunts, uncle, and cousins that loved him dearly. Very special friends, L.V., Ruth, and Debbie Davis, who provided Nicholas and Charlie with a second home where they were nurtured and cared for many years. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Bazolyn Rasberry.

Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 37 Villa Road, Suite 109, Greenville, SC 29615.

Funeral services will be conducted today, May 11, 2006, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 1 to 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will be at the residence.
