Carol Ann (Hatina) Gemlick

Fort Wayne, IN - Carol Ann (Hatina) Gemlick, 76, of Fort Wayne, IN, formerly of Greenville, SC, passed away June 10, 2018 at the Supportive Care Unit at Parkview Randalia, Fort Wayne, IN. Born November 30, 1941 in Cleveland, OH, she is preceded in death by her parents Frank Otto and Edith Elsie (Benes) of Cleveland, OH, her late husband Frederick Daniel Gemlick, sister Sharon Elizabeth (Hatina) Taylor of Crosby, TX and beloved granddaughter, Amber Kathleen, Lima, OH

Following graduation from Lima Memorial Nursing Program, Carol cared for people all over the Fort Wayne area from Parkview Memorial Hospital to BF Goodrich including family practice groups in the area. Carol loved vacationing with her family, caring for her furry four legged children and expanding her education through many Senior Studies classes at Furman University.

Carol is survived by her sons, Brett (Beth) Gemlick, Fort Wayne, IN, Bradley (Jodi) Gemlick, Lima, OH, brother Frank (Shirley) Hatina, Hamilton, IN, grandchildren Connor, Andrew, Emma, Blake, Allison, Graham and Chloe and great grand child Addison.

Services to be held privately by the family. Arrangements by D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home.
