John left our community in Poland when Katie was a baby and returned with Evelyn and the girls to visit in the 1980's; he has never been forgotten. He had a wry sense of humor and the guys were always kidding each other. I remember two things among many as humorous--John calimed he made the best hush puppies and he joked that he was the "most eligible bachelor" when Evelyn met him. We shared many happy times together and Flint could not have asked for a better friend. RIP dear John
