Greer
Roy Michael "Mike" Moore, 48, passed away suddenly at his home on March 10, 2017.
He was born in Florence, South Carolina and lived in the Taylors/Greer area most of his life. He was the son of Roy C. Moore and step-mother, Janice Moore of Greer and the late Winnie Brannon Campbell and step-father, Michael C. Campbell of Taylors. He was of the Baptist faith and an avid fan of the Clemson Tigers.
Also surviving are his sisters, Debbie M. Norman (Bill) of Greenville, Angela T. Howell (David) of Greenville, Kimberly M. Burgess of Leesville and Laura E. Watson (Chris) of Simpsonville; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. David Howell.
Visitation will be held 1:00-1:45 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville County Animal Care, 328 Furman Hall Road, Greenville, SC 29609.

I just found out that Mike past away last night !
So saddened to hear!
Knew him since Highschool maybe middle school!
He was such a personality!
Back in school he was constantly talking about Larry Bird!
Was wondering why I stopped running into him everywhere in Taylors/Greer.
Already miss him,

Worked with "Mikey" for years and before that went to school with his sisters all thru the 1970's.
Michael was a nice guy and had a singular sense of humor, I was constantly bumping into him around town even after we both left the job we shared. My condolences to his family.

Mike was a great encouragement for me as I started to play competitive chess. He and Wayne Williams invested time and energy to help me raise my game...which had a long way to go. He also assisted others as they moved up the ranks. Although I never won a game against Mike, I never lost either because he always showed me how to improve.
