William Keown Obituary
Mauldin
W. Dale Keown, 75, of Mauldin, husband of Pam Keown, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 while at home surrounded by his family and friends.
Born in McCormick, S.C., he was the son of the late William Warren Keown and the late Eula Dale Pennal Keown.
Mr. Keown was a long-time member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Simpsonville. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and a 1962 graduate of Furman University. Mr. Keown worked for many years as a CPA. He was a member of Rotary and served our country in the United States Air Force 1963-1967.
In addition to his wife, Pam, Mr. Keown is survived by his children, Angela Keown Hart and her husband, Carroll, of Greenville, Chris Keown and his wife, Pam, of Greenville, Will Keown and his wife, Katie, of Greenville, and Emily Keown of New York City; grandchildren, Carroll, Eliza, and Lillian Hart, Rachael, Crawford, and Hartley Keown, all of Greenville.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Simpsonville, with the Rev. Michael P. (Mike) Flanagan and the Rev. Linda Gosnell officiating.
The family will receive friends in the Parish Hall immediately following the service.
The family requests that memorials be made in lieu of flowers to: Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Building Fund, 205 E. College St., Simpsonville, S.C. 29681.

Pam and family we were so sorry to hear of Dale's passing. He was a wonderful man, a good friend to all who knew him, and a dedicated professional. He will be greatly missed by all, especially our family.

prayers for the Keown family at this time of great loss. Dale was my Sunday school leader many years ago at Edwards Road Bapt. Church. He made a big impact on my life as a teenager. I have wonderful memories of Dale.
