So sorry for your loss. Magdi Mantoura was such a delightful man. I got to know him a bit in our Bible Study classes. He was brilliant, had studied Scripture in his youth, and read widely. He never did the homework, but he always had opinions and questions. I loved his questions. They were rarely on topic, but were always challenging. I think he enjoyed the reactions he got. He always made us smile. Hugs for you all.

I have fond memories visiting with my maternal cousin Magdy. He welcomed me when I first arrived in New York in the seventies. He was cheerful and witty. Later I enjoyed catching up with him when he would visit Las Vegas with late Maher and Nabil. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to his wife Yvette and his children Karim and Amira and the rest of the family.

I have great fun memories of uncle Magdi. He was a big part of my childhood. He was always philosophical and inquisitive about life. He was also kind to those less fortunate. I will miss him.

So sorry, uncle Magdi is a great loss for all of us.
He was a great man, always willing to help, great sense of humor.
He was a good friend of my dad Fayez and mr. Edmond Shaker (God bless their souls) when he was in Egypt.
There is nothing more comforting than knowing that the person's spirit lives on and is in a better place.

It was very sad to learn that Magdi my direct (maternal) cousin has passed away. I have known him as a nice and helpful person with good sense humour, when we were both in Cairo, Egypt. May his soul rest in peace. Our sincere condolences go to his wife Yvette and her family.
