Hubert Thomas

Hubert “Tommy” Thomas, age 76, of Snellville, GA, died May 15, 2005. He is survived by: daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie and Jim Ziegler of Snellville, GA; Pam and John Ward of Paradise Valley, AZ; son and daughter-in-law: Sam and Chrissy Thomas of Loganville, GA; sisters: Beatrice Dye of Roswell, GA; Lucille Mullins of Fayetteville, GA; Polly Mobley of Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren: Martin Ward, Anna Ward, Zach Ziegler, Harrison Ward, Dawson Thomas, Ella Thomas; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Thomas, a native Atlantan and graduate of Tech High School, owned and managed Beaver Ruin Lumber Company and Beaver Ruin Executive Center, and was a member of Grayson First Baptist Church. He was married to Maudie Chester in 1948, who preceded him in death exactly three years ago to the day, on May 15, 2002. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Dr. Charles A. “Buddy” Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
