David SNELLING Obituary
News Death Notice
SNELLING, David T. passed away on Friday April, 4 near his Florida home, with family members at his side. David was born May 3, 1948, to parents Truman and Juanita Snelling. He graduated from Middletown High School and married Becky S. Brown, spending the next 48 years enjoying family and life. Many long weekends were spent boating and camping at lake Cumberland. He was also an avid golfer. David was a millwright at Armco/AK Steel, retiring after 33 years of service. David is survived by his wife Becky, and sons Keith (Tanya) Snelling of Carlisle, Kevin Snelling of Lexington, KY, and Dustin (Chrystal) Abney of Middletown, grandchildren Cole Snelling, Ashton Snelling, Austin Snelling, Jarrett Snelling, Jacie Abney, and Ashlynn Abney. He is also survived by his mother, Juanita Snelling of Middletown, OH, sisters Cookie McQueen of Middletown, Barbara (Eric) Schreiner of Miamisburg, and brother Terry (Susan) Snelling of Madison Township, and well as many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his father, Truman Snelling, and sister, Vicki Abney. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2:00 p.m. at Christian Enterprise Church, 405 Gideon Rd. Middletown, OH 45044. Private burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial contributions can be made to Multiple System Atrophy.org

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Dave,. Dave was a friend and a fellow worker with me at AK. He always had some funny stories to tell the guys at work just about every day.

Becky & Family, i'm so sorry to hear about your loss of David. We had lots good times with you & him, he could always make me laugh.I was just telling a friend about you & him , when we went to see the Eagles in concert, & some girl spilled a beer inside his leg cast.
