Rick was one of the first storytellers I heard here in Ohio. We will miss his wonderful sense of humor and storytelling style. Love to Jenny and the family.

James was a Good Friend of mine, we were in the same Class of 66. I can remember Good times and Bad times like when he broke both arms at the same time. He could tell a good story even in High School, and he was a Lucky Man to get to do what he dearly loved. He will be missed by a lot of people from Lepanto. R.I.P James.

Rick was a kind and gentle soul who delighted young and old alike with his stories. His involvement in theater was a blessing to all who had the pleasure of working along side him. My deepest condolences to Jenny. Rest in peace, Rick.

I am so sorry to hear this. I met you both outside the Playhouse one summer during FutureFest and discovered that we all knew Gratia. Many pleasant years of conversations between plays since then. He will be missed. You are in my thoughts.

I first met Rick and Jenny when Rick was telling stories at a Storytelling Festival in Louisville, KY in the 80's. We were on a Riverboat with other tellers and I was enchanted with his tales. For decades he delighted, and charmed children. He knew how to tell a "dang" good Halloween scary story too.
