Heidi started life as a preemie. While connected to many tubes, she showed determination to survive and thrive. Some of my best memories of times spent with Heidi were going out to lunch to eat pizza and searching for the perfect prom dress in a size zero. We loved watching scary movies together. She navigated the twists and turns in her life with grace, remaining positive and shining her light on all of those around her. Her Facebook posts were the best and demonstrated her achievement of being a loving mother, enjoying her children and having movie nights with them. She spent time also individually with each of them taking an interest in the things that each enjoyed. She also cultivated other rich friendships throughout her life, and it is no surprise that her career involved working with families. She will be missed by all who loved her. Fly high, sweet girl.

Love you,
Aunt Eileen

Heidi and I met in college and formed a friendship that lasted 20 years. Heidi loved big and you felt her love every time you were near her. Words can´t express how truly grateful I am for having her in my life and calling her my friend. I will be lost without you, my friend..and I will always carry your love with me and spread it to others.

When I think of Heidi, I will always remember the times we spent talking & laughing. Her abilities to share with her pure heart, her laugh, her smile (she always greeted with a smile). Her abilities to put things aside to help others, listen to others challenges, display sincere concerns for others. Most of all the love she had for her Children. Heidi was and is so loved by so many. She was such a sweet special person & friend.

I met Heidi working at Walmart 0489 many years ago. She always had a smile on her face. She was like a ray of sunshine. We kept in touch all these years. She was my moms case worker, she was so filled with love and compassion. My prayers are for her family.

Heidi and I were friends from 7th grade on. She and I grew really close and were practically instant friends at St. Francis Xavier in Metairie, LA. She endured so much in her life, but never let that get her down. She used her experiences to help others. She loved her kids dearly and her family and friends will miss her beyond words. She touched so many lives. Her smiling face always lit up the room. I pray her family and close friends can find the peace needed to continue her legacy.

Heidi was my case worker many years ago. She was the one who made me believe that there was hope and options for me and my son, when I felt like the world was against us. She had a beautiful soul. She will be missed by many.

I believe Heidi was 14 when we met. Every memory I have of her is undoubtably positive. She was the ultimate social butterfly. She made sure she spoke to everyone in the room, so that no one would feel left out in her presence. Many thoughts and prayers will be offered to her children. May she rest in peace.

I first met Heidi when we were in grammar school/high school, she was a neighbor of mine and we were in the same youth group at church as well. We enjoyed so many fun times together - sleepovers, spending times with friends being silly preteen and teen girls, road trips with youth group. She always had the kindest spirit and the best laugh. No matter her trials in life, she was always such a positive, bright light. We lost touch over the years but would chat here and there, and it was like no time had passed. She still had that same bright spirit and wonderful sense of humor. Most recently I had noticed how happy she seemed when posting about her life, so this breaks my heart. To her children, I'm praying for you everyday and want you to know what a wonderful person we all thought your mother was. She was loved by so many and her absence is definitely felt, no matter the years that have passed. May God give you peace and may your mom be your guardian angel always.

I went to high school with Heidi. She was the sweetest little girl with a perpetual smile on her face. We contacted each other a few times on Facebook but not much. Still I enjoyed seeing her posts and knowing that she had a lovely little family. My prayers are for her, her children, her granddaughter, and the rest of her family.

Heidi was such an incredible friend! One of kind! She was the kind of friend that no matter how long you go without talking, you picked up right where you left off. She supported her friends in every way they needed. She was always so loving and wanted to see life from the positive. She is such a beautiful soul and touched the world around her with her amazing personality. She is loved so much and greatly missed. I´m thankful that I was lucky to be touched by Heidi´s love and friendship. My world will never be the same.
