I remember at the last Han San back in April, Uncle Jim made the funniest, and somewhat "off-colored," remark about the van I had been driving and I laughed so hard, I think I turned red! I will always remember and cherish all the moments I got to talk with him, as well as all the hugs and his infectious smile. Nobody will ever be able to replace him in our hearts, as well as mine. Uncle Jim, you will always be missed and loved.

Dear Carolyn & Family,
It has been many many years since my family met yours. We have seen so many of our family and friends pass on over the years. I remember when I first came to Lemoore in 1962 and the years following when we spent times together with Josie and Ted and the kids when I came to live with them. The parties and the gatherings were so memorable. Jim was a wonderful person and with such a warm smile and a great personality and caring person. It was always a great pleasure when we ran into each other reminiscing about the earlier years. Jim will truly be missed by all of those who he always was in contact with and I will always remember the earlier years when we spent time during my high school years at your home. My prayers are with you Carolyn and your family. Jim will be missed. God bless you and your family.

May the Lord give you strength and may your memories bring smiles to your faces during this difficult time. I didn't know Jim, but have heard many great things about him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I drive by your house on my way home, and will miss seeing Mr. Lee carefully attending the plants and front yard. I always look forward to his Christmas decorations and appreciate his attention to detail. Judging by all the cars at your home around holidays, I can tell you're a very close family. In fact, I noticed a lot of cars this weekend and said to my husband, "I hope nothing has happened." I was saddened to hear of your loss and want you to know that Mr. Lee has touched people he didn't even know.

My Dear Carolyn...My deepest sympathies to you and your entire family on the loss of Jim...What a guy!..Just saw him at the Festa and we once again spoke about our golf game; of course at the moment I haven't one and he said the same. There was always a pleasant and kind word spoken between us...will miss him terribly. May you find the peace and comfort to carry you through the next many months with your family around you and the good Lord above to remind you of his faithful love to all of you..I am so sorry and will contact you in person as the days move on. God be with you my friend. Love, Nancy
