Bernard Atchy DuBois

Bernard Atchy DuBois, 88, of Bolton, the beloved husband of 64 years to Muriel Tessier DuBois died Friday, April 13, 2018. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Archie and Blandine (LaRose) DuBois. Bernard was a US Army Corporal, having been station in Austria. He was a long time member of Carpenters Local Union 43. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a supervisor in commercial construction, with New Field Construction and McGraph Davis Construction. He enjoyed 20 years of retirement in Key Largo, Florida, enjoying boating, sailing and fishing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Thomas DuBois and his wife Michelle of Bolton, with whom he made his home, and Jane Zopfi and her husband Paul of Virginia; his grandchildren Andrew DuBois, Danielle DuBois, Allison Taylor, and Amanda Zopfi, his great grandchild Mason Taylor and his sister Lorette Grimason of Willington. Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street Manchester.
