Carmella Lorraine LaQuerre

Carmella (Cam) Lorraine LaQuerre née Guglielmo of West Hartford, CT passed peacefully on January 1st, 2023 at the age of 102. She joins her loving husband, Anthony (Tony) A. LaQuerre, and her son, Michael L. LaQuerre, in the Lord's eternal embrace. Cam is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bichop Nawrot of Bloomfield, CT, her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Marie LaQuerre of Matthews, NC, her granddaughters, Christine Nawrot and husband Stephen Ikin of Washington, DC, Nichole Nawrot and husband Anthony Hernandez of Stamford, CT, Kelsey LaQuerre Blais and husband Kyle Blais of Keene, NH, and her grandson, Jared and wife Rebecca LaQuerre and her great-grandchildren, Rocco, Sorren and Lyra LaQuerre of Nelson, NH. Along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family that remember her fondly as Auntie Cam.

Cam lived a long and eventful life full of family, laughter and love. She spent 70 years with the love of her life, Tony, growing and nurturing anyone that walked through her kitchen door. There were always treats to be had at Nana's house. Her creativity was boundless. She spent many years as a floral designer and spent many hours crafting, sewing or painting. She found joy in keeping busy- knitting hats for the NICU, a fast-paced game of cards, cooking up a storm, or watching the UCONN women's basketball team. As the matriarch of a growing family who adored her, she loved nothing more than seeing everyone together and laughing. 1.2.3.
