Dear Mr. & Mrs. Palmer, Deborah, and Family, I am so sorry to hear the news about Darren. Growing up, Darren made frequent appearances at our house to hang out with Jeff, and I have fond memories of him. He was super funny, and so nice. There was a particular episode involving creative prank phone calls; I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. I enjoyed catching up with him a couple of years ago at my parents' house and hearing about his girls. My heart goes out to all of you for your loss.

My heart goes out to his family, friends and most of all to his children. I reunited with Darren at the "reunion" last year and was so happy to see his smiling face. Lots of fond memories came up and he will be missed.

Darren has been in my life since I could stand in my front yard and watch him and Debbie pass by in their car with their mom, on what seemed to be a daily occurrence. He turned to be a great friend throughout growing up, going to high school, and for the many years thereafter. Bike riding, building forts, fishing, hiking, camping, picnics, parties, and just hanging out are included in the vast array of memories of myself and those in our circle of friends. This is a great loss for the many hearts that have had the privilege to meet, know, and love Darren. I know he will truly and greatly be missed by all. We all know his #1 talent and desire was to make his friends laugh, and to laugh with them. We have those memories forever. My heart is saddened, and is with all who feel this great loss.
