George Dutil Obituary
George Albert Dutil Jr., 85, beloved father and husband, passed away peacefully on May 12 surrounded by his family. George was born in Fairfield Me to George Albert Dutil Sr. and Alexina (Cabana) Dutil. He graduated from Lawrence High School in Fairfield and he moved to Bristol and Burlington where he made his life and home with his wife Delia. George was a home builder and developer and devoted family man. He was proud to be part of building the Bethel Christian Church in Bristol which he was a member. He is survived by his beloved wife Delia Dutil and four children, George A. Dutil III (Skip) and wife Ann, Sherri Wells, Lawrence Dutil and wife Linda, Brenda Mavata and husband Thomas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Survived also by Sisters Anita and husband John Beaulieu and Lucille Vickery. Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his sisters Carmen, Juliette and Leona and brother Robert. A memorial service will be held Monday May 16th at 11:00 am Bethel Christian Church 750 Stevens St. Bristol, ct. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Bristol Hospital Home Care and Hospice 222 Main St. Bristol, Ct.

After a long and wonderful life, my friend, sometimes mentor, one time boss and brother in Christ has been called home to be with Abba, Father. We will miss him and look forward to being with him in glory when we, too, are called home.
I know George touched many lives. Well done George!

The Dutil Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I remember many fun filled summers at Uncle George's home. My dad would park the R.V in the back yard, there were always lots of swimming and BBQ's. He was a very loving and caring man who will be dearly missed by many people.
