Thomas Dutil, 64, of Hollis, passed away on May 19, 2025. He was born on August 22, 1960, to Gerald and Claire (Nadeau) Dutil.
He graduated from Biddeford High School, Class of 1978. He worked at Shape, Prime Tanning, spent many years as a butcher at Ray's Market, and later became an Assistant Deli Manager at Hannaford.
He enjoyed kayaking, snowshoeing, canoeing, walking on the beach, and playing the clarinet. He performed at President Jimmy Carter's Inauguration and played in parades in New York City and Nova Scotia.
Thomas lived with a full heart and no regrets. In his final message, he encouraged others to "enjoy life to the fullest."
He was predeceased by his father, Gerald Dutil, and two brother-in-laws
He is survived by his mother, Claire Dutil; sisters, Gisele Thibodeau and Lise Blanchette; nieces, Kayla Lamb and Megan Hatch; grandniece, Ella Lamb; and his close friend, Jordan Petrin.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Thomas' name.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a Funeral Outside of Mass to follow at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
