Gerald Pehoviak

Gerald Pehoviak, 83, of Amston, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Marlborough Health & Rehab in Marlborough. Born December 20, 1938, in Webster, MA; he was the son of the late Howard and Stasia "Sally" Pehoviak. For over 40 years he worked at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford as a Systems Analyst, during his time there he met his future wife, Janice Patterson. Gerald later went on to work for Computer Science Corporation and worked as a consultant from home. He was an avid reader and in his spare time loved to watch his Boston sports teams, the Celtics, Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. During the winter months, he and Janice would travel to Stuart Florida to ride out the cold in comfort. He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Janice Pehoviak; daughter Laurie and husband Dennis Doherty, son Chris and wife Heike Pehoviak, stepdaughter Cindy Call and stepson Vincent Jr. and wife Karen Patterson; sister Elaine Jean from Dudley, MA; grandchildren Matthew and wife Ashley, Cole, Kai and wife Victoria, Jan, Niels,Sr. and Niels, Jr., Lars, David and wife Serena, Joshua and wife Sarah, Daniel, Victoria and husband Andy; great granddaughters Ava and Getta, Amelia, Noah and Alice; niece and nephew Stephen and wife Susan Jean, and Andrea and husband Bob Krensky; and numerous other extended family and friends. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 3-5 PM at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home 167, Old Hartford Rd, Colchester, CT 06415, followed by a chapel service at 5 PM.
