Howard was my piano teacher at the Hartford Conservatory of Music, class of 1976. He remained my mentor and friend for the next 43 years. I am deeply saddened by Howard's passing and will miss him terribly. My condolences to his family and friends. He asked me to perform Bach's Prelude XXII for him at his funeral for which I cannot fulfill his wishes during this time due to the pandemic. On the day he passed away, I performed it for him in my living room here in Florida. This man was so special to me, I will never forget him. So very sad beyond words. May he RIP now, he suffered so much that last couple of years of his life. With loving memories, Gina Casciano-Diana

Howard was one of the gentlest souls I ever met. His passing brings back many good memories of earlier days at Grace Church. All my family's love and support!
