Just found out about Jim's passing today while looking up past friends/acquaintances. We were roommates for a while while living & going to school in Denver in 76. He had a personality much larger than life, but in private he was a caring, considerate soul. I only wish I could have caught up with him earlier. My deepest condolences to his family...

Awwww Jimmy!!! I've been looking up your name like crazy in the last couple of months, I guess I'm a couple of years late. I'm so sorry! I just really wanted you to know how much you meant to me and that I loved you. I use to love when we were all at Grandma and Jim's and taking off into the back woods for an adventure. You were so funny and cool. My condolences to the whole family.

Wow, I was doing a search and came across this, I'm truly saddened to hear this, I never new him as Jim or called him Jim, he was always James to me.. I knew him years ago, met him one summer at pilots point marina..he was my high school sweetheart :) we had a lot of great times together which I never forgot he was a big, big part of my life. I did look for him a couple times but I guess it was not meant to be,
My deepest condolences to his family.

My brother Jimmy growing up was always self assured and determined. It was hard not to be able to be with you all of these years and not be there for you when you needed it. You had a sweetness about you that you would rarely let others see. I will miss you and always love you, my lttle brother.

I have great memories growing up with my brother. He gave me a beautiful niece and two great nephews. He also gave me family and friends that I am very close to and love very dearly. Thanks for protecting me when I was young and being my friend as well as my big brother. I miss you more than any one will ever know. It hurts to not have been there when you passed. I hope you can forgive me. I will take care of your children like you asked me to. Mike Griffin
