Jean Cronin Obituary
Jean (Lumbruno) Maulucci Cronin of Old Saybrook and Stuart, FL, beloved mom, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on November 6, 2014 at the age of 102. She passed as she lived her wonderful life, with grace and dignity and on her terms. She will be remembered by all for so many different reasons. She was predeceased by her loving husbands, Victor L. Maulucci, Sr. and Richard Cronin. Her eldest son Victor L. Maulucci, Jr., her parents Marino and Annie Lumbruno and numerous brothers and sisters. Jean is survived by her son Michael J Maulucci and his wife Joan of Wethersfield, daughter-in-law Phyllis Maulucci of Manchester. Grandchildren Mark Maulucci and wife Kimberly of East Haddam, David Maulucci of Manchester, Matthew Maulucci and his wife Trace of Bolton, James Maulucci and his wife Dina of Coventry, John Maulucci of Coventry, Andrea J. Maulucci of South Glastonbury and Jennifer Lopes of Southington. Great grandchildren, Nicholas, Kyle, Sarah, Matthew, Christopher and his fiancé Samantha, Jason, Jonathan, Joseph, Parker, Tyler, Maya and Hunter. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service 11/29/14 10:00,a.m. at St. John's Church, 161 Main St., Old Saybrook , CT

We all loved Jean as she was our mascot with the Fenwick golf group. She was quite a fiesty gal & will always be remembered with fond thoughts. She had a great swing too! Nancy Garlinghouse

I always thought that Mrs. Malucci was an unofficial beach attendant at the CP beach and kept us all safe from the dangers of the beach. I had a pleasant talk with her along the beach around 5 years ago. Who knew she was approaching 100 years in age. RIP Mrs. Malucci.
