Josie, it is with sincere heartfelt sorrow that I write this note. My thought and prayers go out to you and the girls. I doubt he ever told you, but I owe more to John than you can ever immagine. The way he inspired me to go back to college and finish my degree, no doubt changed my life for ever. "Just do it" is what he told me, (Along with some other things). I have shared that story in the hope of inspiring some of the young adults in my life over the past few years. He was a good man and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

John was a wonderful and compassionate man who was very proud of his family. A great friend to whomever he touched.
He once said that he named the JoSea after his wife Josie. No comforting words can be said that will ease your loss. Please know that my thoughts are with you all.

I do not recall when when John was not in our lives. It has to be over 55 years. He was my father's dearest friend, and if my mother was lucid she would join me in saying how deeply sorry we are for your loss.
