So saddened by this news. The world is missing one caring, friendly, honest individual. John always had a smile for everyone and his nature was to help out his fellow man. I have so many good memories of him. One that is come to mind this morning is when he dropped everything to assist me. I am sure many others will have similar stories. Traveling to CT one time with my then under 5 daughter, due to pump relocations on the Thruway I accidentally put gas in my diesel car. (I know!). The car stoped running just off Rt 90 right at the Toll Booth. John helped with Triple A tow, got my vehicle to his driveway and rescheduled his work for the next day. We spent the morning into the afternoon multiple trips to the parts store, draining the fuel tank, lines, and fuel filters. During all that work he never complained that he had other things to be doing, never made me feel the fool, we laughed, joked and enjoyed each other's company. This was very typical of John. Great friend to all, always willing to lend a hand (with that fabulous smile!).
