It was an honor to work side by side with Kevin for a year and a half with a very challenging class of third and fourth graders. He was always gracious and kind with the students and especially kind, respectful and protective of me. We had a wonderful comradery. We double teamed the boys, working them and then rewarding them with "shooting hoops with Mr.Kevin". The students adored him and I was so grateful for his calm steady support. He was a wonderful young man.

Kevin was a leader at our school, always a positive force for staff and students. He was a support to the point that, when I heard he was going ahead with his education, I told him that I saw him as a principal some day.
Kevin was a role model of the honorable man, especially for young men growing up. With his sincere positivity, he radiated energy that we benefitted from and were then able to pass on.
Our communities have truly lost a leader - for children, youth, and for
all of those who work to make children's lives better.
I send love and condolences to his family and loved ones.
