I am so sorry to hear of Lillia's passing. I remember and never forget how both her and her husband opened their home to others and made their home a home to many. I spent many days visiting, playing with her children, and watching her husband giving haircuts.

They were special people who instilled so much good and important values. Thank you Lillia and thank you to her family for sharing such special times. You will be missed and remembered.

Both Pat and I are deeply saddened to learn of Lil's passing. I have known her all my life although as a young child I didn't understand why the children would rotate in and out of the house on Chapin Ave, I would learn later in life of the special people that Lil, John and their children were and still are. To say that Pat and I are better people for having known Lil sounds so cliche, but it is true. She was an amazing woman who touched so many lives and each of us is better for it.

Our deepest condolences to Lew, Connie, Joe and all the foster kids that found shelter, love and guidance under their roof.
