Dear Arcari family, I was so saddened to learn of Linda's passing. Linda and I had been friends for over 20 years. Linda was the first one to reach out to me at The Hartford when I joined the Voice Technology Unit; I'll never forget how kind she was and how welcoming she made me feel.
As all the other messages about Linda remarked on her kindness and gentle spirit, I say the same. Truly, Linda was such a special person, who had a great sense of humor.
When Linda spoke of her family, you could see the glimmer in her eyes as was she so proud of each of you.
I considered Linda a very good friend. Linda and I would meet in Elizabeth Park, walk around the park, then meet other friends a little later for dinner. We all looked forward to those dinners and catching up.
Linda was an angel on earth. I know in my heart that she is now a heavenly angel.
Linda, you will be missed.
With love,
Shannon Morrison

I am an alumna of Saint Joseph College (Class of 1996) and recently spent two and a half years job hunting. Linda and I spoke several times about my job search and she was one of the most encouraging, gracious, soft-spoken people I have ever met. I am therefore very saddened to learn of her passing.
Sincerely,
Shannon Morrison

Linda will be greatly missed by all. She was a wonderful, kind, considerate person. If there was a telecommunication need or problem Linda was 'our woman'! Her voice will echo at Saint Joseph College forever. Linda was everywhere. I will miss seeing her, hearing her, and knowing no one can replace her. What a terrific human being. I am so sorry for everyone's loss, her family, friends, and colleagues.
May God Bless,

Linda has been my friend for well over twenty years and I miss her terribly. We've seen each other go through job losses, surgeries and boy friends. She was always sweet, kind and absolutely delightful. She was the one I would call on when I needed sound advice and she always came through for me. When I moved to California and later to the Southwest we continued to keep in touch. One special part of returning to Connecticut was to see Linda and our friend Rebecca and to catch up the way we girls do. Now our get togethers will have an empty chair and heartfelt tears. I can't imagine not seeing her again. Linda was truly one of God's children.

I was startled and saddened to read of Linda’s passing. Such a wonderful person, too soon gone.
I met Linda as a “client” of mine at The Hartford’s career transition center when her position was eliminated years ago. Understandably, she was devastated. My role was to help her in whatever way I could. We met frequently during that troubling time, and I recall telling her that given her qualifications, attitude and personality, the problem she would one day be facing would be how to choose among the several job offers she’d one day be receiving. Through teary eyes she stared at me in disbelief, but it wasn’t very long before she and I were weighing the pros and cons of her multiple possibilities. It was her choice to make, but I was silently rooting for her to cast her fate with St. Joseph College and was delighted when she did.
Our business done, she could have disappeared from my life but Linda, being Linda, called me each November for a number of years thereafter to let me know how she was doing and to check up on me. How I looked forward to those conversations! She was so sweet, so thoughtful.
Now my heart, heavy from the loss of my wife to that same awful scourge, is further burdened at today’s sad news. Would that I had words of comfort to provide balm to all those who grieve Linda’s passing. I join the many whose lives have been enriched by having known such a wonderful person. Our world has been diminished by her passing.

My prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I have known Linda as a colleague at Saint Joseph College, I was always so impressed with her being in a closet full of wires for her to sort through. I always said to her, "It's a good thing I am not in there." Then we would enjoy a laugh together.
I hope your memories of Linda bring you comfort in the days ahead. She was a wonderful person.
