Marion LeBrun Obituary



Marion E. (Slater) LeBrun, 84, of Middletown, wife of the late Lawrence "Larry" B. LeBrun, died Thursday March 22, 2018 at Water Edge Health Care, Middletown after a brief illness. She was born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Patchel) Slater. Prior to her retirement, Marion was a secretary with CL&P and later was employed with Mercy High School for 14 years. She was an active parishioner of St. Pius X Church, Middletown, and member of the Rosary Altar Society, Pro-Life Rosary Group, and St. Monica's Mother's Circle. Marion is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Berry and her husband Steven of Middletown; grandson, Matthew Berry, who was the light of her life; sister, Mildred Martin of South Chatham, MA. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Smith. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:45 a.m. from Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, followed by an 11:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Pius X Church, Middletown. Burial will be in the State Veterans' Cemetery, Middletown at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home TODAY from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Xavier High School, 181 Randolph Rd., Middletown, CT 06457 in honor of her beloved grandson Matthew Lawrence Berry, Xavier Class of 2018. Dear Suzanne,
I am so sorry to learn of your Dear Mom's passing. She had a Beautiful Soul and Lived her Entire Life as God's Faithful Servant.
